Introduction

Jacques Bianchi, a French watchmaker with roots in military diving from the 1980s and 1990s, has teamed up with Olympique de Marseille (OM), the iconic football club from the same city. The result is the OM200, a limited-edition dive watch that fuses the brand's legendary legibility and practicality with football-inspired details. This collaboration is a natural fit, as both share a deep connection to Marseille and a commitment to performance.

The JB200 Heritage

The OM200 is built on the foundation of the JB200 Diver, originally developed for the French Navy's diving units. The case design, known for its robustness and clarity, was revived in 2021 as an automatic re-edition. Since then, the JB200 has seen various iterations, including the Poulpro and the Fratello collaboration. Now, it gets a football-themed makeover for OM fans.

Design and Features

Case and Bezel

The watch features a 42mm brushed stainless-steel case, water-resistant to 200 meters. The caseback is engraved with the Olympique de Marseille logo. The unidirectional bezel is the standout football element: it has 60 clicks and a blue insert with a 45-minute scale, with the 45-to-60-minute section marked separately to represent stoppage time at the end of a half. A luminous triangle at 12 completes the football-inspired timing scale.

Dial and Hands

The deep-blue dial is created using a 20-layer enamel-like process, reflecting the club's colors. The OM logo is embossed in the center, then sunray-brushed and enamelled. Applied indexes and hands are filled with Super-LumiNova BGW9 for excellent visibility. A playful touch: the lollipop seconds hand has a counterweight shaped like a football.

Movement

Inside beats the Swiss Soprod P024 automatic movement, a COSC-certified chronometer. It runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz) and offers at least 38 hours of power reserve. Accuracy is rated within -4/+6 seconds per day. This movement is a robust alternative to the ETA 2824.

Straps and Availability

The OM200 comes with two straps: a blue FKM rubber strap and a blue military-style elastic strap with a central white stripe. It is a limited edition, with pre-orders opening on September 3, 2026, and running until September 24. Deliveries are expected to start in December 2026. The price is EUR 995 including VAT.

As with any limited-edition watch, be cautious of counterfeit models. Always purchase from authorized dealers or directly from Jacques Bianchi. Check the serial number and the caseback engraving for authenticity. Given the limited production run, act quickly during the pre-order window to secure one.
